Tesla-spec tires are marked T0, T1 or T2, and usually contain acoustic foam.
Tesla specifies a tire with a foam layer glued inside the tread to cut road noise, which matters far more in a car with no engine to mask it. The foam is also why Tesla-spec tires cost more and why some shops will not plug them.

Every US car built since 2003 carries this placard. It also gives the pressures, which the sidewall does not: the number molded into the tire is the maximum it can hold, not what your car wants.
